We headed back to The Bridge Sound and Stage recently to finish recording our upcoming CD: “Uncorked”. We added a new slow blues “Got no spoons” (inspired by Ned’s years of work on the ambulance).
We wanted a little more “punch” to the tracks, yet wanted to stay true to our live acoustic sound. Fortunately, our friend, drummer/percussionist extraordinaire, Joey Pafumi was available. Joey is the consummate professional: equal parts ears and chops and never fails to and the right touch to the song.
Once again, we had Alex Alinson at the desk. His technical knowledge and ears are matched by his ability to keep sessions productive with a deceptively easy-going demeanor.
The mixing and mastering are expected to be finished by the first of the year, so stay tuned for a January release date.
